Instructors: Request Fall Sites
Instructors, if you have not requested fall 2009 sites, please fill out the Site Request Form for each site you will need.
The following may cause delays in creating your site:
- incorrect information, including instructor listing, in the class schedule (make sure your department has updated the registration system with the correct information for your class); and
- requests to copy sites without owner permission (if you are not an owner of a site you wish to copy, an owner must e-mail permission to webvista@umn.edu before the site can be copied).
WebVista A Decommissioned on July 1, 2009
On Wednesday, July 1, at 5:00 PM, OIT decommissioned WebVista A, the Blackboard Vista version 3.0.7 system. This was the final step in the upgrade to WebVista 4, which happened in August 2007.
WebVista A instructor/designers received a notification e-mail on June 18. Please e-mail webvista@umn.edu with any questions.
Maintenance: 2nd and 4th Sundays, 9 a.m. to Noon
To provide the best possible performance of WebVista, the systems will be unavailable the second and fourth Sunday of every month from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for regular maintenance. Check the University's System Status page for status updates.
