To access WebVista course Web sites, you must use a supported browser and configure it, popup blockers, and search engine toolbars correctly. You can use Netscape 7.0, 7.1, or 7.2 with Windows by following the steps below.
- Select Edit: Preferences.
- Select Advanced from the left-hand pane.
- Make sure the Enable Java box is checked.
- Make sure the list under Privacy & Security in the left pane is open (select the triangle if it is not open).
- Select Cookies from the list and select Enable cookies for the originating website only.
- If you are using Netscape 7.1 or 7.2, select Popup Windows.
- Either uncheck Block unrequested sites or continue with the steps below.
- Click the Allowed Sites button.
- Enter "vista.umn.edu" in the text field. Click Add.
- Enter "vista2.umn.edu" in the text field. Click Add.
- Select OK.
- Select OK.
