The caret appears in columns that had, or should have had, scores entered automatically but instead have scores that were entered or changed manually. |
N/A |
This text appears in a calculated column when a value cannot be calculated because there are no values in any of the columns used in the formula. |
|

parentheses and italics |
This marking appears in a calculated column when the total is incomplete because there are no values in one or more of the columns used in the formula. It does not indicate a negative number as in some spreadsheet applications. |
