The Digital Media Center (DMC) offers the following design and development services to campus instructors who are developing WebVista course sites.
Consultation Services
You and your assistants may meet with DMC instructional multimedia consultants to discuss issues related to any educational technology project. DMC WebVista specialists also can help with WebVista issues, such as designing Web-based course materials and online learning activities. They also can help you find other central, collegiate, and departmental sources of support, and provide a wide range of other services that can help you teach with technology.
To learn more, see the Use Our Services: Planning and Design page on the DMC site. To schedule a consultation appointment, contact the DMC by calling (612) 625-5055 or sending e-mail to dmc@umn.edu.
Development Suite Assistance
You may develop digital course content for free in the DMC's Development Suite, where DMC staff members can help you use Mac and Windows computers and a variety of multimedia development software. Go to the DMC Facilities page for more information.
